         STATEMENT OF FAITH

Our ministry, Vision Misionera and the United Faith Vision School of Ministries accept the Holy Scriptures as the revealed Will of God, the all-sufficient rule for faith and practice; and for the purpose of maintaining general unity, do adopt the following statement of foundation truths:

We believe the Holy Bible to be the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God.  We believe that there is only one God- eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.  We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in the blessed hope of His personal visible future return to this earth to receive to Himself His blood-bought church, that it may be with Him forever.  We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Jesus Christ.  We believe that the regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation.

We believe that the redemptive work of Jesus Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer.  We believe that the baptism with the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4 with the evidence of speaking in tongues, is given to the individual who asks for it.  We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy life.  We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and lost to everlasting life or everlasting damnation.  We believe that our Lord commanded the observance of two ordinances- water baptism and the Lord's Supper.  Water baptism speaks of spiritual life begun and the observance of the Lord's Supper speaks of the continuance of the spiritual life.  Both are acts of obedience that are important to maintaining fellowship with Jesus Christ.
